Grindelwald's True Face?

I want to take this particular moment and write my thoughts on the Johnny Depp/Fantastic Beasts situation in question.

I did not want to write about this, necessarily, as many will, and many has written about it, and vlogged about it, and also I did not see it as anything with writing about. But, in reality, I had thoughts and concerns.

Johnny Depp, who was in constant trials against his wife Amber Heard of Warner Brothers Aquaman film starring Jason Mamona, lost the recent trial due to PROOF? in a newspaper called "The Sun". Depp was to be recast with a new actor, which evidently, has already happened.

Meet the replacement as Mads Mikkelsen.

Mads is known for his roles as the villain in the 2006 James Bond film, or Bond film, "Casino Royale" as Le Chiffre. He is also known largely for his role as, tv character and show, "Hannibal" of the Hannibal Lecture focused films "Silence of the Lambs", previously and iconically played by Anthony Hopkins. Recently in Netflix's adaptation of the Graphic Novel, Polar.

To me, he is a great actor who can pull of a villain in an interesting way, and the way he played Hannibal is something I see him doing with Gellert Grindelwald as both are people who dress well, has a certain attractive charm that lures others, yet are villains in subtle ways.

As great as he is, I am also uncertain of him as Grindelwald because, as seen on screen already, Depp was magnificent with his portrayal as a Politician Villain. To me, once you hire Depp, that is it, you can't replace him.

But then, I would be lying if I was not curious about Mads.

A funny thing is how the character also differentiates of origin from the actors.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: played by none other than the brilliant Collin Farrel, an Irish. He played Percival Graves, an American Auror, who turns out to be Grindelwald, briefly played with Depp.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald; we see American Johnny Depp play the villain throughout the film as this charming, luring villain, who knows people to rage a war against muggles.

Fantastic Beasts 3: The movie is set 4 years after in 1930 and setting in many places like Rio Brazil. Once again, Gellert Grindelwald is being played by another, Danish actor Mads, only it is the same character physically, not in disguise.

Despite that Farrel played the character in disguise, he still played as Grindelwald from a viewpoint.

With Mads, however, we are looking at a different style of fashion as that tends to happen with actors and actor changes. That is not to say, the fantastic beasts films, already had a few changes of wardrobes in the first 2. with different settings, comes different styles but the same aesthetic.

I am overall curious, as mentioned prior, and I know many hate this, love this change, and do not want to see this film due to the change while others welcome the idea. Overall, regardless, many will see it in the end, without a doubt. Why? because it's "harry potter", because we need the story to end and we want to know how, and above all, how will, and where will, Mads Mikkelsen takes the role of Gellert Grindelwald if it pans out. Because of it does, he is the official face of the character that many fans will see in the future of any merchandise and overall statements from Warner Brothers.

A Funko POP for Collin, a Funko POP for Depp, and ultimately one forever for Mads Mikkelsen.
